Snake Racing/AGI SPORT Formula 3 team took a maiden national class win and gained some valuable experience at the Australian Formula 3 Championship Event in the Shannons Nationals at Sydney Motorsport Park on the 14 & 15th July, 2012.

The team joined the national road show for the second time this year with driver Nathan Gotch improving his lap times consistently and keeping a sensible head in a dramatic Race 2 to win his first race in the Forpak Australia F3 National Class.

After finishing a respectable seventh outright and third in class in Race 1 on Saturday, Nathan equalled his qualifying time in Race 2 on Sunday. A focussed drive saw Nathan storm through a spin by Hayden Cooper and a clash between Lochie Marshall and Ben Gersekowski that put the BF Racing driver into the wall. Marshall ended up with a 32 second penalty giving Nathan his first national class victory….Full Article
