PRESS RELEASE – Jimmy Vernon reveals Formula 4 car livery

The first peek of what the CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship cars are going to look like when they hit the track came this weekend with the unveiling of the Toolforce Racing entry steered by Jimmy Vernon.

The cars are already sleek and athletic, full livery adds another glimpse at the standard of professionalism these young drivers are aiming for.

AGI Sport driver Jimmy Vernon was hands-on during both the design and application processes in a race against the clock to have the car ready in time for his official unveiling event.

“The cars arrived from Walkinshaw Performance in Melbourne to AGI Sport on Wednesday. We had our livery unveiling on the Friday so this put a lot pressure on my sponsor Shockwave Signs.

We spent 12 hours on the car on the Wednesday adding the colour, then a further 2 hours on the Friday adding the finishing touches.

The car was completed just in time to quickly put the cover on it before the guests arrived.”

AGI Sport Team Manager Adam Gotch was impressed with the end result.

“The Team Toolforce F4 car, the new tool boxes and garage sponsor panels just look amazing.

It really brings home the standard of professionalism we’re about to see in Formula 4 this year and what these kids are going to be able to offer their sponsors and backers in terms of exposure. It’s exciting to be bringing this level of professionalism to the race track.

We’re looking forward to getting Jimmy’s car out on track this week for the first official test at Winton Raceway, ahead of joining the V8 Supercar Championship in Townsville come July.”

“The livery is the result of many hours sitting down discussing with Shockwave Signs.

We decided to stick with the metallic silver as this brings through the generic Toolforce colour.

The vibrant green stripe makes it very easy to spot on the track and ties together the design.”
